About OUR PROGRAMS

English is a tool, English is a medium

English is an endless sea. We can dip in it a little. Big Sea English can help you to come to the sea and have a special connection with it that works for you. We help you master the English skills that suit you and in ways that suit you, so that you can express yourself. Learn to communicate -- not to only use English as a tool, but be one who can communicate effectively in it.

Our tutors work with you to both help you learn how to use standard English in a way that helps you communicate with a particular community (for example, American English speakers), and to gain practice speaking with members of this target community, so that you gain the skills and ability to do it confidently and freely, regardless of your English level.

one-on-one, small groups

Choose to study one-on-one with a tutor, in groups of three or four, two hours per week, or three. Any way you chose to study with us, it will be the result of a plan we put together with you to help you learn English. We guarantee results; because we and you agree to work together to reach them.

We help you identify your goals with English, to determine how we can meet them, and to schedule a course of study, with a way to verify your results. As our teachers and communication partners interact with you -- not just teach you -- it would be "our results."

We only accept a course of study that we believe would help you.

Whether a more or a less intense weekly schedule, you would be following a course to help you gain the comfort, knowledge, relationship, and access to your communication needs,, in English, which you need.
